  • Interior Health physiotherapists in partnership with the City of Kelowna offer a physiotherapy navigator service that helps guide people with Parkinson’s Disease and other conditions to appropriate activities, exercises, and if needed to redirect to outpatient physiotherapy services. They are available for walk in discussions and phone calls:

  • RPM Fitness offers boxing classes called PARK-FIT for patients with Parkinson’s disease

  • SongShine Music Therapy runs a program to maintain vocal strength for people with Parkinson’s. The local group in Kelowna meets weekly for 1 – 1.5 hours and is open to any patients with neurological disorders looking to strengthen their voice. Up to date information can be found here:http://www.songshineforparkinsons.org/Currently the group meets  Meets Tuesdays, 1:30pm – 2:30pm, except in July. On the second Tuesday of the month the group stays for refreshments after the session. Meetings are at  Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1130 Springfield Road
